Cocoa, which is one of the leading export products in the country, accounts for 70% of exports. When it comes to places to visit in Accra, Kwame Nkrumah Monument and Kwame Nkrumah Park, Pyongyang, National Museum, National Theater and National Cultural Center, Independence Square, Holy Trinity Cathedral Church, the fishing port in the historical district of the city, Jamestown, the most famous beach of the city. Labadi Beach, Osu Castle built by the Danes in the 1600s, and the typical African traffic jam, beggars, roadside open-air restaurants and mechanics, motorcycles, and Makola Bazaar right next to the dirty buildings that changed color due to the effect of the Harmatan storm.

When you add Labadi Pleasure Beach and Kokrobite Beach, 25 km from the city, to the magnificent view of Accra, known for its rainforests and rope bridges between trees, a wonderful holiday awaits you. Labadi Pleasure Beach and Kokrobite Beach, Africa's most famous and paid entrances, stand out with their activities where musicians and acrobats entertain visitors with various activities. Apart from these, it is possible to prefer CoCo Beach, which is located in the Teshie region and is quieter, and Misty Beach, between Teshie and Tema.
In the city center, you can visit the Kwame Nkrumah Monument and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, erected in the name of Kwame Nkrumah, who liberated Ghana, and the park of the same name nearby. The Accra International Conference Centre, the largest conference venue in the country, is one of the city's major attractions. The Accra Zoo, located in the Kanda District on Independence Avenue, can be a different experience.

You can choose Buka Restaurant, a modern open-air restaurant in Osu, for local delicacies such as fufu, the Ghanaian people's favorite dish and cassava puree. Ghana's unique Palm Wine and the wine they call Pito should also be tasted. Apart from this, the gin called Akpeteshie is consumed quite a lot.
The favorite address for shopping is, of course, Makola Market. For Ghana's handicrafts, the Center for National Culture is filled with booths selling handmade artworks from all over the country.
