Air Cairo Check-in Procedures
Air Cairo provides an online check-in service. This service is only available to passengers with a confirmed and valid electronic ticket. If you do not have any special requirements (such as a wheelchair, visual or hearing impairment, unaccompanied minors, pets, etc.), you can check in online anytime from 24 hours before your flight's scheduled departure time up to 3 hours before departure.
Like other airlines, Air Cairo requires you to be at the airport 3 hours before international flights and 2 hours before domestic flights. Boarding closes 60 minutes before departure for international flights and 30 minutes before departure for domestic flights, after which the gates are closed.
Air Cairo Baggage Allowance
Air Cairo offers different free checked baggage allowances depending on the travel region, cabin class, and fare selected at the time of booking. The airline divides its routes into three zones: Zone 1 for flights between Egypt and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, and the rest of the Middle East), Zone 2 for flights between Egypt and Europe (Italy, Czech Republic, Serbia, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Germany, and the rest of Europe), and Zone 3 for domestic flights within Egypt (Alexandria, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor, Aswan, Marsa Alam, and the rest of Egypt).
Depending on the geographical zone of your flight, the airline offers a baggage allowance ranging from a minimum of 20 kg to a maximum of 32 kg. The maximum dimensions for checked baggage are 203 cm, with a maximum weight of 32 kg.
Air Cairo Seat Selection
The airline assigns a random seat free of charge during online check-in. If you prefer a specific seat, such as a window, aisle, or extra legroom seat, you can select it online immediately after booking your flight or later through the "My Booking" section (up to 48 hours before departure).
The cost of your selected seat ranges from 10 EUR to 30 EUR, and payment can be made via credit card at the time of selection.
